Sempre a proposito del titolo, ho scoperto un'altra cosa interessante: è un verso di "Adonais", elegia scritta da Shelley per la morte di John Keats. Ecco alcuni versi:
«Who mourns for Adonais? oh come forth
Fond wretch! and know thyself and him aright
He is gathered to the kings of thought
Who waged contention with their time's decay,
And of the past are all that cannot pass away.»
"Adonai", come dice bene Lilù, è parola ebraica per "Signore", mentre "Adone" in inglese è "Adonis".
