Altri problemi:
The project is down while we remodel our database servers.
The machine that was running the main BOINC database has become too unreliable to use. The backup server does not have the capacity to run the project on its own.
The very good news is that we just ordered two new servers! One will be the new BOINC database server and the other will be the new back end science database server. Our capacity to both distribute and analyze our data will increase significantly with these new machines.
While we prepare for these new servers and get them going once they arrive, the project will be down. Although no new work will be distributed, all outstanding work will be uploaded and credited. This web site and the forums will remain up for most of the remodeling period.
Funding for the new servers has come entirely from very generous donations from the SETI@Home community. 28 Oct 2010 22:26:47 UTC
Leggendo i commenti sembra che il tutto rimarrà offline per circa un mesetto
nel frattempo potete mettervi su altri progetti a vostra libera scelta.

Le WU caricate prima del black-out mi davano ancora 10 giorni di autonomia...

Upload Server Issues

E ci risiamo, di nuovo problemi ai server
work generation temporarily halted

NON E' GIUSTO! Proprio ora che ho cambiato uno dei portatili e ho preso un HP ProBook 4720s con Corei3! [>:]
PS: ho dovuto cambiarlo per problemi alla ventola di raffreddamento....

E tanto per cambiare, anno nuovo (dato che ci sono Buon Anno!) problemi
VECCHI!!!!!!!
Due to lab-wide electrical repairs there will be a complete power outage from January 4th to January 6th, during which all our servers will be unreachable. We are also having our server closet air conditioner repaired, and will be completely off line from January 14th to January 15th.
In sostanza dal 4 al 6 e il 14 e 15 di Gennaio i server saranno off-line per manutenzione all'impianto elettrico, per cui fate scorta di WU! (ma tanto che lo scrivo a fare? ormai questo sottoforum non lo guarda quasi più nessuno....)

La manutenzione all'impianto elettrico per questi giorni è stata annullata ma resta confermata quella del 14 e 15 Gennaio per l'impianto di aria condizionata.

Sperando che NON sia un pesce d'aprile anticipato, il primo aprile i server SETI saranno offline per almeno 3 o 4 giorni per spostamento server.
