Per chi usa Linux a 64bit (recentemente sono passato ai 64bit anche li) e il relativo BOINC Manager, sono arrivati i client a 64bit, occhio però a scaricare il boinc manager dal sito e non dagli "archivi" della distribuzione in uso.

Spero che prima o poi arrivino anche per windows....

Rilasciati i client Astropulse UFFICIALI per le GPU ATI!!! Ovviamente solo le GPU openCL e solo per Windows, Linux è attualmente escluso.

RETTIFICO:

Anche le GPU INTEL sotto Linux possono finalmente elaborare le wu!

Ok, 2016:

1) Il Boinc manager stabile è attualmente il 7.6.22 (per windows) mentre per Linux è il 7.4.22
2) E' stato rilasciato da poco il Seti@home versione 8.00

Mentre il boinc manager dovete scaricarlo e installarlo manualmente, per il seti (il client che effettua materialmente i calcoli) non dovete fare nulla, verrà scaricato in automatico

Con il Boinc ieri mi è successa una cosa stranissima, mai accaduta in precedenza. Normalmente le WU caricate hanno un tempo di elaborazione medio di 8 - 10 ore. Eppure ieri mi ha caricato una WU con un tempo di elaborazione di 127 GIORNI! Una soltanto, tutte le altre sono sempre sulle 10 ore.
Come se non bastasse, la WU scade il 10 marzo, quindi anche volendo è impossibile da elaborare...

Mai successo niente del genere a voi?
